Ivalas Quartet

The Ivalas Quartet is a dynamic New York–based string quartet dedicated to expanding the chamber music tradition through expressive performance and thoughtful programming. Formed at the University of Michigan, the ensemble has won major awards including the grand prize at the Coltman Chamber Music Competition and the first prize at the WDAV Young Chamber Musicians Competition. They have appeared on concert series nationwide and have performed full programs at venues such as Carnegie Hall. The members are also active educators, coaching young musicians and participating in residencies and community engagement initiatives.
